Workshop 1: The AI Enhancement Studio: Hands-On Design for Active, Multimedia, and Resilient Work
Time & Date: 10:15-11:45, October 23, 2026
Location: W516, Visualization Lab
How can we move from using AI as a simple tool to becoming directors of the projects? This hands-on workshop explores a new cognitive lens for designing resilient services and instructional support in an AI-enhanced environment. You will learn to create interactive learning scaffolds and custom tools using strategic prompting and no-code "vibe coding." Additionally, we will examine how to build a verifiable "process trail" for multimedia work, ensuring quality and rigor. Through practical design frameworks and live prototyping, you will leave equipped to turn your unique ideas into reusable prototypes that support your daily work and community. No prior AI experience is needed.
Note: Please bring a laptop when attending the workshop.
