Digital Humanities Platform of Shanghai Library gathers links to various Chinese humanity data platforms of modern newspapers, advertisements, periodicals, modern books, genealogies, ancient books, family archives, etc. Besides, the portal provides maps that displays the origins of documents, and offers knowledge graphs that demonstrate the internal relationships among documents.
The open data, in the form of Linked Data, supporting the Digital Humanities Project can be found here: http://data.library.sh.cn/index. The platform publishes the general knowledge base (people, places, time, events, and objects), literature knowledge base (genealogy, archive and manuscripts, ancient books, etc.), and ontology vocabulary used in the digital humanities project. Examples include Name Authority Database, Chinese Surname List, Seal Knowledge Base, Taboo Knowledge Base, Engraver Knowledge Base etc.
