Located outside the library gate. Instructional sessions in the Lab are reserved for library workshops.

Equipped with specialized computers - 3 Macs and 3 PCs - digital displays and Maxhub, the lab is dedicated to digital scholarship-related classes, projects, and events.

The center of our instructional video production, from blended learning to full online courses.

Equipped with dual monitors, Bloomberg and Wind terminals provide financial data and news on equities (stocks), indices, funds, debts, commodities, and other derivatives.

These reservable spaces with varying sizes and available technology.

The HPC lab offers high-performance computer stations with specialized software to cater to individual requirements, featuring 8 Macs and 8 Windows computers.

A space dedicated to self-service presentation recording- prepare your presentation, send it to the OBS, enter the room and hit record!  Faculty and Staff who are interested in utilizing the space, please email shanghai.rits@nyu.edu.

Public computers and monitors available for NYU Shanghai community users. First come, first served.

Self-service stations by the elevator on the the 5th and 6th floor. 

Available exclusively to NYU Shanghai Track PhD students and approved research fellows for quiet concentrated study.

Please refrain from talking and make sure that your digital devices are not creating noise that would disturb others. Phone booth available if you need to take a call.

Graduate students and approved undergraduate students (apply for access) can swipe their NYU card to access. The 5 individual cubicles need to be booked in advance.

The Sound Box is a meticulously designed facility for high-quality audio recordings, equipped with a professional microphone, mixing console, and immersive speakers. Students should obtain the instructor's approval before emailing shanghai.rits@nyu.edu with their specific audio recording requests.

The multifunction room serves as a study space when not hosting events, workshops, or exhibitions.

Individual viewing station, equipped with a DVD/Blu-ray player, primarily for library DVDs.

Enables display of high-end digital content like Digital Heritage artifacts, mapping, and visualizations. Two distinct zones for group viewing and content sharing between 4K short throw projector and 72" LCD wall panel. 

The XR SPACE is a versatile environment for testing and experiencing all immersive technologies.
