This Scholar’s Space (N606) is located on the 6th floor of the library, and is available to graduate students and approved undergraduate students working on Capstone and Deans' Undergraduate Research Fund (DURF) projects. Undergraduates who would like to apply for access should fill out this form.
Using the Room
- Users of the Scholar’s Space must abide by the Library Code of Conduct and Library Space Policy.
- The room can be accessed by swiping NYU campus cards.
- The open study area seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
- Please do not bring unauthorized persons into this room.
- Door should be closed when the room is being used.
- There are five enclosed single-use cubicles within this space that can be reserved through the Online Space Reservation System.
- Individuals with reservations have priority to use the cubicles.
Reservation Guidelines
- Cubicles can be reserved up to one week in advance.
- Only one cubicle can be booked by the same person for up to 2 hours per day.
- You will receive a confirmation email at your nyu.edu address, which will be the proof of a successful reservation, should a conflict with another individual occur.
- If any change of plan occurs, users are expected to modify or cancel their reservation accordingly.
- NYU Shanghai Library reserves the right to cancel or modify a reservation.
