The Researcher’s Room (N607) is located on the 6th floor of the library, and is available exclusively to NYU Shanghai Track PhD students and approved research fellows for quiet concentrated study.
Using the Room
- Users of the Researcher’s Room must abide by the Library Code of Conduct and Library Space Policy.
- The room can be accessed by swiping NYU campus cards.
- There are ten single-use carrels within this space that can be reserved through the Online Space Reservation System.
- Reservations will have priority to use the carrels in the room.
- Door should be closed when the room is being used.
- Please do not bring unauthorized persons into this room.
Reservation Guidelines
- Carrels can be reserved up to one week in advance.
- Each individual can make up to 2 reservations per day. A maximum of 2 hours can be booked for each reservation.
- You will receive a confirmation email at your nyu.edu address.
- If any change of plan occurs, users are expected to modify or cancel their reservation accordingly.
- NYU Shanghai Library reserves the right to cancel or modify a reservation.
